Were you that competitive kid who always kicked the ball way into the outfield during school recess kickball games? For most, kickball is a fond memory of fun times while playing games with friends and classmates.
We have an opportunity for you to rekindle that fun and enjoy a new sport akin to kickball. And golf. And even soccer.
Play a round of footgolf during Premier Footgolf’s “$5 Footgolf” promotion through the end of July at Shortee’s at 96th Street and Westfield Boulevard in Indianapolis.
If you’ve never played before, take advantage of this limited-time offer and get to know the sport during this nearly half-off promotion. A round of 9-holes is just $5 per person, nearly a 50% discount from the regular $8 fee. Bring your own soccer balls and a group or family of four can have some friendly competition and great fun for just $20.
What is Footgolf?
It’s not really kickball, or golf or soccer, but it’s a mixture of all three. Players kick a soccer ball from the ‘tee’ to the green and into an over-sized flag hole in as few kicks as possible. The person who takes the least kicks to do so wins.
The footgolf course at Shortee’s is a fun 9-hole course with some obstacles, sand traps, water hazards and hills to make it a little challenging. It’s great fun for all ages.
Premier Footgolf Owner Sam Foley designed the course and is sponsoring the promotion to introduce the sport of footgolf to as many people as possible. Foley is championing the introduction of footgolf courses to city, county and state parks throughout the U.S. with his “Footgolf for All” campaign. Enjoy a round of footgolf and then consider supporting the movement.
